The Video Poker Playing Strategy that will help you win at this game are very different to those we use in the common poker games we play with our friends.
When playing video poker, we must constantly aim for the five coin royal flush. In Video Poker this comes up once in about thirty thousand hands. Woopie! Hang about you say! I'll be broke long before then!
Along the way you will pick up other prizes to streetch your bank roll.
If you look at the payout figures for these machines, the five coin play returns at least five times the single coin payout. Yes, you say, it dam well cost me five times more to start!
When you hit a modestly reasonable prize, the payout is 16 times the single coin payout.
It is these odds that give you the chance to beat the machine.

On average, if you play single coins, you will always end up loosing because when you do win, the prize is too small to cover your losses. Of course, there is that super lucky scenario which in my case, always seems to happen for some one else. In the first one to three goes out falls a big prize. Just think how much more it would be if five coins were played instead of one!
In Video Poker we must concentrate on the Royal Flush. By using this strategy it will come up more frequently than what it does in our social games and in such games I have won hands with nothing more than a pair of duces which pay nothing in video poker.

two coins for a royal flush usually pays 500 coins
three coins for a royal flush usually pays 750 coins
four coins for a royal flush usually pays 1000 coins and
five coins for a royal flush usually pays 4,000 coins
so for an extral coin we get an extra 3,000 coins.
That is why we hunt the big one and why we look for the casino with the best payouts!
Of course along the way you will pick up other prizes. None of them are as good as this one but they all have the same thing in common. The pay out for five coins is always better than what it is for any other coin combination.
